tERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

Company: Refers to Cyber Sound Pty Ltd , the provider of sound equipment and/or services.

Client: Refers to the individual or organization hiring equipment or booking services.

Equipment: Refers to all sound gear, accessories, and related items provided by the Cyber Sound Pty Ltd.

 
2. Bookings & Payments

A booking is only confirmed once a deposit of 50% is paid.

Full payment must be made 2 days before the event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are non-refundable, but may be transferred to a new date subject to availability.

 

 3. Delivery, Setup & Collection

Cyber Sound Pty Ltd will deliver, set up, and collect the equipment at the agreed venue and time.

The Client must ensure that the venue has suitable power supply and access for setup.

Any delays caused by the Client may result in extra charges.

 

4. Use of Equipment

The Client is responsible for the safe use of equipment during the hire period.

Equipment may not be sub-hired, moved, or tampered with without permission.

Cyber Sound Pty Ltd’s staff are the only persons allowed to operate certain equipment unless prior training/approval is given

 

5. Damages & Loss

The Client is responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of equipment during the hire period, except for normal wear and tear.

Repair or replacement costs will be billed to the Client.

The Client agrees not to allow unauthorized persons to handle the equipment.

 

6. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made in writing.

If cancelled within 48 hours of the event, the Client remains liable for 50% of the total booking fee.

Postponements are subject to availability.

 

7. Liability

The Company is not liable for:

Power failures, venue restrictions, or circumstances beyond its control.

Any indirect or consequential loss arising from equipment failure.

8. Health & Safety The Client must ensure the venue is safe for equipment setup (dry, secure, with stable power supply). The Client must inform the Company of any health & safety risks at the venue.

9. Termination of Service The Company reserves the right to withdraw services or equipment if: The Client breaches these terms. Conditions are unsafe for staff or equipment. No refund will be given in such cases.

10. Agreement By making a booking and/or paying a deposit, the Client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

The Client is responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits and permissions for the event are obtained.
